“The ultimate test of man’s conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for generations whose words of thanks will not be heard” - Gaylord Nelson
Meet Taylor (She/Her, They/Them), a dedicated board member of Community Grows Land Works (CGLW) with a background in financial services and corporate social responsibility programs. Taylor is excited to use their expertise to enact positive change with CGLW in the Spokane, WA communities. Her roots are in the picturesque landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, where spending time outdoors serves as a source of refreshment and inspiration. It was this deep connection to nature, and the inspiring way her friends come together to support one another in their goals, health, and wellbeing, that compelled Taylor to join the board of CGLW. Through their work with the organization, Taylor channels their passion for communal care, human connection, and their love for community gardens, creating spaces where shared growth and environmental stewardship are nurtured, all in the spirit of fostering connections and promoting a sense of belonging within the community. When not immersed in the corporate or volunteering world, you'll find Taylor indulging in their love for gaming, tending to their home yards to enhance biodiversity, reading a good book, and relishing quality time with their partner Jon, and beloved pets Jupiter, Nova, and Coral.
